The River Fox Train is welcoming fall with a new partnership with Sacramento favorite Dave’s Pumpkin Patch, bringing guests an exclusive pumpkin patch experience aboard the Pumpkin Patch Express from October 3 through October 31.

Departing from Elkhorn Station, the Pumpkin Patch Express takes guests on a scenic journey through the Sacramento region’s agricultural countryside before arriving at a pumpkin patch presented in partnership with Dave’s Pumpkin Patch exclusively for River Fox Train guests.

At the patch, each guest can pick out a pumpkin to take home while enjoying warm apple cider and a donut. The seasonal experience continues throughout the journey with coloring activities aboard the train and pumpkin decorating available at Elkhorn Station, giving families plenty of ways to celebrate the season together.
